Virtual reality (VR) typically refers to computer technologies that use virtual reality headsets, sometimes combines with physical spaces or multi-projected environments, to generate realistic images, sounds and other sensations that simulates a user's physical presence in a virtual or imaginary environment. Now, we can see that VR is mainly applied on video games so that player can enjoy a super-real environment. However, VR will be more than games! Firstly, VR can be regard as a useful tool, which bring together people from around the world to engage and interact. All social, economic or geographic disparities can be neglected. Dear readers, Welcome back again! Last time I was talking about whether technology can replace teachers in the future or not. I am so happy to see your comments and feedback. Today, I would like to talk about what is the future of technology in education. Firstly, I believe that the technological gadgets will be widely used in Kindergarten, Primary school, Secondary school, University, etc. Today, many students are still using text materials. Yet, I am sure that textbooks will disappear very soon. In the future, no one will bring lots of heavy textbooks to school. Instead, what they carry is only an iPad. All learning materials are stored in it while students can jot notes and review them anytime and anywhere. They can also access to online test or collaboration platform easily. With more widely usage, iPad or tablet will become more affordable which will be more environmental friendly as well. Therefore, traditional press may need revolution. I talked to my friend who is a news re...

In the past, teachers seems to be an indispensable element in the educational industry. But time keeps changing. Nowadays, many students are taking online courses, online assignments and even online examinations. Students are all using technology as a tool to enhance their education. It seems that it is not a must to maintain a face to face teaching interaction in the classro...

However, when the world keep changing and developing, is technology also transforming education? Will technology has any impacts on the future educational world? This should be an interesting topic. The pace of technology is accelerating. I interviewed my parents what is the situation in their age. They said that computers were not common at that time. My father told me that his first encounter to the computer is around 25. The computers were extremely expensive, so nearly none of his classmates can has one in their home. In the past, they only went to the classroom and study in front of the blackboard. The teacher lectures from a podium at the front of the room while the students sit in rows and listen. But when it came to my age, the case was totally different. When I was in primary school, t...
